Wellness Seminar - January 2008:
GNO Senior Olympics will present a WELLNESS SEMINAR on SATURDAY, JANUARY 5TH at 9AM. Registration begins at 8:30, at ST PAUL'S EPISCOPAL PARISH HALL, 6249 Canal Blvd, New Orleans. Our Guest Speaker is DR. THADDEUS TEMPLE, a doctor of Internal Medicine. He will speak on the importance of EXCERCISING as we age. Dr Temple's talk will be followed by a class, "YOGA FOR SENIORS," conducted by JANICE OPPENHEIM. Please come dressed to participate. REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED. THERE IS NO CHARGE. Retired Rummel Track & Field Coach Rome Evans, who is currently a Private-Duty Personal Trainer. Coach Rome displayed superior skill as a coach, as an advisor, and as an old-time Physical Education Teacher.

We are Finalizing the Schedule for the 2008 Senior Games.
We have established each Venue and most Event Coordinators have those Reserved for the 2008 Games.
We have agreed in general on the GNOSO 2008 Entry Application; This will be completed and published by early December 2007.
We are finalizing plans for theJanuary 2008 Wellness Seminar - expected January 17.
We URGE a ll Event Coordinators to plan Seminars/Clinics as a publicity measure.
We discussed the conduct and outcomes of LSOG State Games Critique/Lessons Learned, and are providing written feedback to LSOG.
